For Gauge 3, there is a new chassis kit available to allow the 45mm gauge Bachmann ‘Thomas’ wagons to run on 63.5mm gauge track. The heading photo above shows what can be done (fine work by Adrian). The kit provides a 9 foot wheelbase chassis with steel wheels, running in brass bearings in cast whitemetal axleboxes, with brake gear. Fitting to the Thomas body is easy.
