Set of 2 trunnions and parts.
2 etched trunnions, folded to a ‘U’ shape, to carry a set of wheels. The trunnions suit either the provision of some compensation in case your track is slightly less than flat or can simply be an alternative to using a cast axleguard.
The trunnions come complete with turned brass bearings for 2mm journals, screws to fix to the floor of the vehicle, a pivot wire and restraints to allow movement and a spacer to position the fixed trunnion at the same height as the pivoting unit.
If used simply as wheels carriers height above rail will be the same as a Brandbright kit using any of our cast axleguards. If used to provide pivoting compensation the vehicle will sit about 0.8mm higher due to the pivot wire and spacer.
Available for both 32mm and 45mm gauge.
