Description
The GS19 Hopper Wagon is based upon the drawings of R Y Pickering & Co. who proposed a Hopper Wagon for the Campbeltown & Machrihanish Light Railway’s coal traffic. It is a useful addition to any railway, and would lend much authority to a coal hauling railway, or even a “what if” the C&M had expanded to become the Argyllshire Light Railway, as proposed in 1919. The kit comes with a jig to help with assembly of the hopper. As usual the kit requires wheels and couplings to complete – 25mm Brandbright wheels are recommended – either plain disc or the 2 or 3 hole versions.
