Description
This is a model of a full brake coach built by the Oldbury Railway Carriage and Wagon Company for New Zealand Railways as their type F brake. It has been designed using as much prototype data as possible but variations between vehicles were many! The type D coach is covered by our PS14 kit.
The kit can be built for either 32mm or 45mm gauge track.
Length over body is 322mm, width over body is 112mm (124mm over the steps) and height above rail is 150mm.
The prototype coach is quite big – the model matches a typical Roundhouse locomotive profile very well. We recommend fitting 25mm diameter wheels. You will also need couplings to complete the model.
